Pippa Middleton's father-in-law is being investigated for the alleged rape of a minor, according to a judicial official in France. We've got the details.

The 74-year-old father-in-law of Pippa Middleton, David Matthews has been arrested on historic rape charges relating to two alleged attacks on a minor on a luxury Caribbean island.

In a statement on his behalf, a family rep said: "David Matthews categorically denies the allegation and unequivocally contests the untrue and scandalous accusation".

The source said the alleged rape took place in 1998-99.
