"NO MORE DACA DEAL", Trump tweeted Sunday morning.

In a span of 35 minutes, he threatened to blow up NAFTA and walk away from a (non-existent) deal on DACA, while revealing his profound lack of knowledge about the policy, which his own administration is attempting to end.

Trump's previous offer to Republicans and Democrats on DACA gave amnesty to 1.8 million illegal aliens, six times the population of Obama's DACA program, and as Breitbart News reported, had the potential to become uncontrollable and unenforceable, opening the amnesty to millions more illegal aliens.

The president seemed particularly outraged over a caravan of more than 1,000 people from Central America who are traversing Mexico with the aim of showing up on the US border to either sneak into the country or demand asylum.

Mr Trump is spending the Easter holiday in Palm Beach, Florida, at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

"A lot of people are coming in because they want to take advantage of DACA", he said. A deal has so far proved elusive and Trump has blamed Democrats for that. "They had a great chance". Permits that were due to expire on March 5 are now still in effect after court orders forced the administration to keep issuing renewals.

More than 1,000 would-be migrants have passed through Mexico's southern states of Chiapas and Oaxaca in recent days in a so-called "refugee caravan" organized by US -based immigrant advocacy group Pueblo Sin Fronteras.

After posting a "Happy Easter" message on the social media platform, Trump followed with: "Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release".

President Donald Trump declared Sunday that a deal to help "Dreamer" immigrants was "NO MORE" and threatened to pull out of a free trade agreement with Mexico unless it does more to stop people from crossing into the U.S. He claimed they're coming to take advantage of protections granted certain immigrants. "Mexico has got to help us at the border".

He added: "Mexico is doing very little, if not NOTHING, at stopping people from flowing into Mexico through their Southern Border, and then into the U.S. They laugh at our dumb immigration laws. They had a great, great chance", he said. The group is reportedly fleeing poverty, violence, and political unrest in the region, hoping to get asylum once they make it to America - although some have said they'll cross the border illegally if necessary. "It can't happen that way anymore".

A call between the two men in February grew testy after Trump refused to publicly affirm Peña Nieto's position that Mexico will not pay for the wall's construction, leading the Mexican leader to cancel a planned visit to Washington.

Some fellow Republicans chided Trump over the tone of the tweets.

"It's hard to believe that President Trump, who has flouted his way to business success, that Robert Mueller is not going to dig up something in Trump's complicated financial history", the conservative suggested.

Trump last fall announced an end to the program but said he would negotiate with Congress for an extension.
