Drama and Fleetwood Mac - the two go together like peanut butter and chocolate but let's be honest - that constant friction is what has made the band so damn good through the years.

Buckingham left the band once before in 1987, returning for a tour in 1996 and remaining a steady member since.

Fellow vocalist Christine McVie, who was married to bassist John McVie and had kept a low profile in recent years, rejoined Fleetwood Mac in 2014 to complete the classic lineup. After artists, including Lorde, Keith Urban, Juanes and Little Big Town, saluted the band, the quintet took the stage to close the evening with energetic performances of "The Chain", "Little Lies", "Tusk", "Gold Dust Woman" and "Go Your Own Way". "The band wishes Lindsey all the best".

Buckingham, a key songwriter for the group, initially left the band in 1987.

Neil Finn has joined rock giants Fleetwood Mac, replacing Lindsey Buckingham for the forthcoming tour. It was a natural fit. Yes, Neil Finn is joining legendary act Fleetwood Mac.

According to Rolling Stone, the group issued a joint statement saying they were "thrilled to welcome the musical talents of the calibre of Mike Campbell and Neil Finn into the Mac family".

"Fleetwood Mac has always been about an unbelievable collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents", Mick said.

"We know we have something new, yet it's got the unmistakable Mac sound".

Allen, the East Ridge police official, said authorities are not aware of any previous incidents involving him and his mother. The post, which was shared more than 1,000 times and received hundreds of comments, has since been taken down.

'We look forward to honoring that spirit on this upcoming tour'. "I can't wait to play".

"Lindsey Buckingham will not be performing with the band on this tour".

Buckingham toured previous year with McVie in support of an album they had recorded together as a duo.

So was he fired or did he quit, or, as is often the case with relationships that stretch back almost 50 years, was it both and neither?

Lindsey Buckingham will have to go his own way.

A source told CNN that the split was "over musical differences regarding the tour".

"Lindsey Buckingham will never be performing together with the group on this tour", the ring mentioned in an announcement.
