Tottenham and Kane effectively appealed to the Premier League's goal accreditation appeals panel after the target was initially awarded to Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Mauricio Pochettino's men refused to settle for the point and got a second goal which was subject of controversy on whether Spurs' talisman Harry Kane got the final touch or not.

As Manchester City's scouting suggests, this hasn't gone unnoticed, and now another Premier League team has targeted the France U21 global: Tottenham.

He said before it was awarded to him: "I touched the ball, but there's nothing I can do".

"If they turn it around, they turn it around".

Many people who play the popular game on the Premier League's official website were left cursing their luck. "Look, whatever happens, there are still games to go".

Salah, who has scored 11 goals in his last eight Premier League games, appeared to question the decision on Twitter.

"I can't control what Mo Salah does".

Tottenham Hotspur really want their superstar striker Harry Kane to win Golden Boot this season, and today they got a massive boost. But Kane kept insisting, first saying that it glanced off his shoulder in post-match interviews, then apparently arguing with his teammates in the changing room.

"It happened similar a year ago and I came back strong and that's what I'm aiming to do this summer and take that into the World Cup".

Thierry Henry remains the only player in Premier League history to win the Golden boot accolade thrice consecutively (2003-2006).
