Moto G6 Plus specs revealed on popular benchmarking site Geekbench

Motorola has scheduled a launch event on April 19 in Sao Paulo, Brazil in which the company is expected to announce the Moto G6 series of smartphones. As per the listing, the Moto G6 is expected to come with a metal frame having a layer of glass and dual cameras with dual-tone LED flash, and the Motorola logo with fingerprint sensor housed in it will be at the back. On the other hand, the Moto G6 Plus will have a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display, a Snapdragon 630 SoC, and 6 GB of RAM, while the Play version will be the most affordable one with a 5.7-inch HD+ display, a Snapdragon 430 SoC and a 4000 mAh battery. Now, a complete set of leaked renders of all the three models of the 2018 Moto G series have surfaced on the web. The Amazon listing also confirms dual rear camera setup for Moto G6 with features like "Portrait" shots and face filters. As per the 10-second video also shared by Slashleaks, the Moto G6 Play's display and the rear panel is shown. Going by our exclusive image of the Moto G6 Plus, the phone has a front-facing fingerprint reader. The images showcase the front and back of the device along with some specs shown on the sticker on the display. In terms of optics, the G6 Play could be launched with a single 13-megapixel sensor at the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie sensor.

Rumored specs for the phone include an nearly 6-inch Full HD display with an 18:9 ratio, a Snapdragon 630 chipset and 6GB of RAM.

A Twitter user has shared the renders of all the smartphones in the Moto G6 lineup. Connectivity-wise, you can expect dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio port. The specs sound very promising and it is confirmed that this will be a mid-range smartphone from Motorola powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It will be powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz processor, clubbed with 3GB RAM. All three phones are expected to ship with Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
