Burnley registered their first win over Chelsea since August 1973 on the opening day of the season at Stamford Bridge.

Napoli are now believed to be looking for a successor for Sarri as they expect him to go - and the strong belief in Italy is that he will get the Chelsea job.

Fifth-placed Blues can cut the gap to Tottenham, who lie fourth, to five points by beating Burnley tonight.

Burnley on the other hand, have had a spectacular season. "Make no mistake we are moving forward but we are not there, we still have to work for every inch".

The hosts have a few absentees, with Scott Arfield, Steven Defour, Ben Mee and Robbie Brady out with injury.

Potential Burnley Lineup: Pope; Lowton, Long, Tarkowski, Ward; Lennon, Cork, Westwood, Gudmundsson; Vokes, Wood.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Aaron Lennon are expected to start on the flanks. Marcos Alonso has been charged with violent conduct in last weekend's win at Southampton and could be rested as a result.

Batshuayi was withdrawn on the hour-mark after an ineffectual display, and he would only start two further Premier League games before departing on loan to Borussia Dortmund midway through the campaign.

'It is more simple because you have to avoid the last three places at the bottom and then you can stay between 10 teams.

Chelsea have won only 3 of their last 9 games across all competitions.

The Clarets haven't completed a league double over Chelsea since the 1968-69 season.

The Burnley game also hinted at Chelsea's issues at the top of the pitch.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte acknowledges Manchester City are set up to dominate in the Premier League, and again suggested he has not been fully supported this season. It took a while for his first Premier League goal to arrive, but it couldn't have come at a more crucial time.

"We have to try and finish this season in the best possible way", said Conte.

"They have dominated this season and I think it is right to give the compliment", said Conte.

Nonetheless, with some supporters even dreaming of Europa League qualification, manager Sean Dyche says a game-by-game approach is what his players focus on. "They are having a fantastic season and it won't be easy to get three points".
