The actor plays the role of a military officer in the film. The movie marks the directorial debut of Vamsi who had written for films like Temper, Race Gurram and Kick. Notably the film's Tamil version En Peru Surya En Veedu India has gotten a big release. This Allu Arjun starrer political drama is directed by Vakkantham Vamsi.

All the stunts pulled off by Allu Arjun in the song are 100 per cent real. But his angry young man persona appears forced in some portions, as though to mask the clumsy narrative. I prodded him to evince interest in "NPS".

Bottom Line: Performances and technical richness make Naa Peru Surya a patient watch.

Hamline to meet Illinois Wesleyan in NCAA Division III women's lacrosse tournament
Yale, after being upset by Cornell in the Ivy League championship game, is the No. 3 seed for the NCAA men's lacrosse tournament. They were also knocked out in the semifinals by Penn State during the tournament's inaugural season in 2015.

Allu Arjun as the army fan is a ideal fit, with his beefed-up physique and modified body language perfectly complementing the role he plays in the movie. But keep your expectations in check. "In Tamil Nadu and Kerala, our film hit the screens this Friday in 200 and 110 theatres, respectively", Sridhar added. The emotional connect is missing and also the romantic thread is a bit boring. Now onus is on Allu Arjun to end the season on a high note.

"Naa Peru Surya" grossed more than half a million dollars in two days (including Premieres) in North America. Also, the hard work and his honest efforts are visible on the screen. Anu Emanuel looks attractive and glamorous, but her role is reduced to songs and a couple of scenes.

Vennela Kishore, Charu Hassan, Boman Irani, Elli Avram, Nadiya, Sharath Kumar, Pradeep Rawat justified their roles. The characters of the film are a hard sell too, a surprisingly bold move that would've resulted in something awesome if only the film had direction.
