He had just 14 yards on five rushes in the five games where he suited up. His best year came as a rookie when he rushed for 490 yards on 144 carries and three touchdowns and added 19 receptions, 340 yards and a TD through the air.

He'll serve as a backup in Philadelphia too, and it'll be interesting to see if he can start to turn his career around.

Jones, 25, was a former third-round pick by the Washington Redskins in 2015. Indianapolis waived Jones in December only to sign him again the following week. It comes after the former breakout star in the nation's capital won a workout between three different free agent running backs.

OPEC Source: Saudis Can Boost Oil Output After US Quits Iran Deal
USA crude CLc1 settled down $1.67 at $69.06 per barrel and Brent LCOc1 settled down $1.32 at $74.85. He said any action would be taken in coordination with all OPEC and non-OPEC partners, if needed.

But with his considerable size (6-2, 240 lbs.), perhaps the Eagles can use Jones to make up for the physical running they lost with the departure of LeGarrette Blount, who left this offseason to sign with the Detroit Lions.

Fumble issues wore out his welcome in Washington after two seasons, where he coughed up the ball eight times, losing six of them. Jay Ajayi, Corey Clement and Darren Sproles are back, along with Wendell Smallwood and Donnel Pumphrey.

So, why would the Eagles waste a roster spot on a player that many feel is a liability with the ball in his hands? Josh Adams also figures to get a look in short yardage situations during camp and preseason.
