The first-generation Surface Hub is available in both 55-inch and 84-inch versions, while the Surface Hub 2 features a 50.5-inch touch screen display (no larger size will be offered, at least initially). Apart from this, Microsoft has also optimized the software for productivity apps like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Whiteboard, and Office 365. Robin Seiler, the general manager of Surface Hub engineering, told Business Insider the price of the new Surface Hub will be comparable in cost with the competing digital whiteboard offerings from Google and Cisco, which could mean a price of about $5,000.

Microsoft also said that it teamed up with Steelcase for a series of rolling stands and mounts so the devices can be easily moved. This device brings out the best bits of the Surface Hub 1 and advances all the parts that needed advancing. While we are having a video call with someone, we do not have to shrink their face, but instead, use the full capacity of the Surface Hub 2.

After teasing a next-gen Surface Hub in March, Microsoft today took the wraps off Surface Hub 2 via a new blog post by Panos Panay.

This is accomplished through the use of 4K cameras that rotate with the device, integrated speakers, and far field microphone arrays that would allow anyone in the room to be picked up the mic when speaking.

However, police believe she could also be driving a navy blue Ford sedan, but there is no year or tag information for the vehicle. Hafza is described as having puffy hair in a ponytail wearing an ankle-length peach dress and painted gold bracelets.

The ability to rotate the Surface Hub 2 to a portrait orientation is made possible by a rather clever mechanism which appears to work in a fashion similar to the muscle wire lock on the Surface Book. The company has this time added more robust collaborative tools which can allow multiple users to simply sign in simultaneously through a fingerprint reader and pull up their work onto a single workspace.

Microsoft suggests they've brought the original Surface Hub to more than 5000 customers across 25 markets.

Pricing too, is yet been revealed, but Microsoft promises this is coming "soon".

Surface Hub 2 will start heading out to customers later this year but only in a small pilot group. The device, Microsoft said, is emblematic of the modern workplace, where people are more mobile and spread out and companies need better ways to communicate and collaborate.
