Mobile users of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds now have a new location to play in thanks to the arrival of the Miramar map.

The official discord has also released the patch notes for the massive new update.

- Desert map ("Miramar") is now available for selection.

The idea with Missions and assignments is you can earn goodies instead of spending hundreds of dollars on skins like we see in Fortnite.

Other additions include a local quick team feature, where can team up with friends who are in the same room by simply entering a 6-digit code.

The film looks to be a real victor , and the dream team of Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg hasn't delivered a dud movie yet. If The Raid and The Raid 2 hadn't already tipped you off, you don't want to get into a fight with Iko Uwais .

- Added Synergy and Connections: interact with your friends in-game to raise Synergy, then build Connections when your Synergy is high enough. Miramar is a barren desert, and adds loads of interesting wrinkles to the PUBG formula as there aren't many forests to hide in so you have to adeptly use the actual terrain to hide from enemies. The region system will help with language-based chat channels, too.

- Now you can collect rewards for every new tier reached in Season 2. All things considered, it sounds like the latest update for PUBG Mobile should nudge it closer to the PC version of the game in terms of content and quality.

Additionally, there's a "secret stash" in the new shop that's full of discounted items that will change on occasion. You'll find tons of new clothing, special clothing or items to buy for your character, and other add-ons.

PUBG Mobile is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.

- Improved display of personal information and results.
