OnePlus 6 launch today

On the purchase of the OnePlus 6, customers can avail a discount of Rs. 2,000 on SBI Credit and Debit card transactions during the first week.

The new smartphone will be launched in Mumbai and the "OnePlus Community" will be the first to try out the device at the experience zone at the launch venue, the company said in a statement. Customers will also be eligible to avail No Cost EMI for upto three months on all popular banks.

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is scheduled to announce its latest flagship device, the OnePlus 6 at an event in London and ahead of this, the OnePlus 6 is available for pre-booking from Amazon India, the company's online partner in the country. The smartphone will arrive in India the following day with the first sale taking place on May 21 for Amazon Prime users and for all on May 22.

As a part of this sale, the company is selling Amazon e-Gift voucher worth Rs. 1,000 from 13th May to 16th May, which can be used to purchase the OnePlus 6 smartphone on 21st May and 22nd May.

The OnePlus 6 will be available for purchase on OnePlus.in, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience store as well as all other OnePlus offline sales channels. The OnePlus 6 is going to be a high-end phone, and will sport premium looks with its body made of metal and glass.

The cashback of Rs 1,000 will be credited to the buyers' Amazon Pay wallet by May 25 and the extended warranty will get enabled by June 30.

OnePlus will also be setting up pop-up stores in at least eight cities in India - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune for two days. The handset will also include a notch design and a new version of OxygenOS with Android 8.0 Oreo.

Last year, despite the buildup for the OnePlus collaboration with world-renowned camera rating agency DxOMark, OnePlus 5T failed to live up to the hype. Further, the pop-ups will be held between 3.30pm-8pm on May 21 and between 11am-7pm on May 22.
