STALKER 2 announced, could arrive sometime in 2021

A website cropped up ( and the official GSC Game World website states that the game is now in the works. A new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is like a Russian Half-Life 3.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 seems to be coming in 2021 according to a post on ResetEra.

GSC Game World has announced S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, the latest entry in the first-person shooter survival horror series S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

However, the sanctions for now only affect companies that operate out of the US or have significant exposure there. Also, the economic sanctions by the US will resume after the grace period of between 90 days and 180 days.

The release is scheduled for 2021. Well great news, recently game developer G.C.S studio announced a sequel!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 originally began development in 2010, but difficulties with the game's development led to its cancellation and the eventual closure of GSC Game World. Game locations are created on the basis of documentary shots taken in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl NPP. There's no telling if the devs will be rocking an updated X-Ray 1.6 (after S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat's X-Ray 1.5) or if the devs will be powering S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on something else entirely.
