Stardew Valley's addictive blend of farm management and crop-growing has enjoyed great success on other formats since its release in 2016, selling over 3.5 million copies worldwide as of late previous year. Another piece of the good news is that the game is cross-buy, which means those who buy it on PS Vita will also get a copy on the PlayStation 4.

"Perhaps the most common question I get asked is, "When is Stardew Valley coming to PS Vita?" If it's anything like the Switch version, Stardew Valley on Vita will not tap into any of the handheld's special features like the touchpad.

In an e-mail to Kotaku, the company announced that developers must submit all Vita product code requests by June 28, along with final purchase orders by February 15, 2019. It's just the same great game you've come to know and love, but ready to play on the go.

Surrounded by media and supporters, Anwar walked out of a hospital Wednesday where he was recovering from surgery. He was serving a five-year jail term on sodomy charges, which he said was politically motived.

The game is now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. We'll have to wait and see what the Vita version has in store when it releases next week.

Rejoice, the long-awaited PlayStation Vita edition of Stardew Valley is coming very soon. The hardware manufacturer emailed game developers today to let them know that they "plan to end all Vita GameCard production by close of fiscal year 2018", in both Europe and America.
