Tamil Nadu TN HSC +2 Results 2018 declared at tnresults

The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary education oon Wednesday (May 16) announced the class 12th results. The Tamil Nadu government will not be declaring its list of toppers and their marks or ranks so that students aren't depressed.

Candidates can also check their results at dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in. Students who belong to the TN board for the academic year 2017-18 will be able to check their results from the official website of TNBDGE; tnresults.nic.in.

The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education was established in 1910, and later after Independence was carved out as and separate Directorate of Government Examinations under the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Due to the huge number of visitors, the official website www.dge.tn.gov.in may take time to open and some candidates may find it hard to check their TN Board 2018 HSC examinations result. And for higher secondary (classes 11 and 12) there is single unified stream leading to the award of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC). The scores from the class 12 board examinations are used by universities to determine eligibility and as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes.

Tamil Nadu Board 2018 examination was conducted under the guidance of the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, between March 1 and April 6, 2018, across the state at 2,794 exam centres. TNBSE is a board of school education, which supervises and regulates the work for advancement and expansion of secondary education in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu DGE is expecting the good pass rate this year. Girls performed better with a pass percentage of 94.5 as compared to 89.3% for boys. Soon after the official declaration of the results, students will throng in to check their results.

Apart from the official website; other third-party websites such as examresults.net, indiaresults.com will also host the TN HSC +2 exam results 2018.
