The CW's annual Arrowverse crossover always makes headlines for the network.

But if that news isn't exciting enough, Batwoman won't be the only huge addition to the Arrowverse in the crossover.

On Wednesday, Amell got fans buzzing when he nearly spilled the beans early: "I'm gonna be in NY on Thursday for the CW's upfronts".

BCCI announces squads for one-off Women's T20 Challenge match
Rajeev Shukla, Chairman, IPL, said, "We were in talks with several Boards and I am pleased with the outcome". The exhibition match is scheduled to begin at 2 pm and all the IPL rules will be followed.

Finally, we'll just say it: Dare we to hope that with Batwoman's appearance, we see the return of Floriana Lima's Supergirl character Maggie Sawyer in the crossover? "We will be fighting alongside Batwoman", revealed Arrow star Stephen Amell. But we do know that at least one bat-hero will be there to meet the gang in the form of Batwoman herself. "I need to leave right now and start filming it". She has also had a notable role on the animated side of things, serving as the subject of the 2003 feature Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman and appearing in two of the current DC Animated Universe films, as well as Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

CW president Mark Pedowitz confirmed that this will be the first time Batwoman will appear "on any screen" and "we're adding the city of Gotham into the Arrowverse". The modern version, Kate Kane, was reintroduced in 2006 and is of Jewish descent and a lesbian.

We'll bring you more details on the CW's bat-tastic plans for the next DC crossover as we learn them, but get ready to gear up for a trip to Gotham this autumn! She is Bruce Wayne's cousin - her father Jacob Kane being the brother of Martha Kane Wayne, Bruce's mother.
