Google WiFi adds device performance network testing feature

Existing Google Wifi tools in the companion app allow users to measure the general speed of your internet connection, as well as the network connection quality between multiple Wi-Fi access points.

To access this change, you'll head into the Network Check menu inside of the Google WiFi app.

Google has announced that it's adding a new feature to Google Wifi that will allow you to measure how well each device on your network is performing.

The new feature is rolling out from today, but may take a little while to reach you.

Owners will be able to run the test within the Google Wifi app in the coming weeks, with the company advising users to keep their eyes peeled.

To use it, just go into Network Check and launch the test there.
