The Congress unit in Goa has extraordinarily sought an appointment with state Governor Mridula Sinha in order to stake claim to power in the state.Similarly, former Bihar deputy CM and leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Tejashwi Yadav has said he will meet Governor Satya Pal Malik and stake claim to form government in the state, now ruled by a Janata Dal (United) and Bharatiya Janata Party alliance. "We have asked the governor to dissolve the state government and like in Karnataka, invite RJD, the single largest party in Bihar, to form the government", Yadav said adding he would be meeting with the Governor at Raj Bhawan at 1:00 pm on Friday.

The BJP, which emerged as the single largest party with 104 seats in the 222-member Karnataka Assembly (elections to two seats will be held at the end of the month), was invited by the governor despite the JD (S)-Congress combine staking claim by citing the support of 117 MLAs.

"We had sat on dharna till 2am on July 26 previous year outside the Raj Bhawan waiting for the governor to invite us as we were the single largest party" he said.

Congress once again was the single largest party with 21 seats in Meghalaya but National People's Party (NPP) led by Conrad Sangma was able to form the new government with the help of other smaller parties even though it had scored victories on only 19 seats, two less than the Congress. The Governor should have invited us to form the government. ANI reported that All India Congress Committee General Secretary Ashok Gehlot issued letter requesting all Pradesh Congress Committees, leaders and workers to organise state-wide dharnas at state capitals and district headquarters tomorrow to protest against Karnataka Governor for inviting BS Yedurappa for making government in Karnataka.

The BJP had won 13 seats in the 2017 Assembly elections, compared with 17 of the Congress'.

"We would be holding a one-day dharna tomorrow against the murder of democracy in Karnataka".

'Roseanne' May Move 'Away From Politics' in Season 2, ABC President Says
An ABC representative told Fox News the show is "definitely not" cutting out the approach to reach Middle America people. ABC embarks on a new season without Rhimes, the creative force behind such shows as " Grey's Anatomy " and " Scandal ".

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav declaring that he will parade his party's MLA before the Governor of Bihar.

Now, as the BJP's past action boomerangs on itself and with the Congress going all out to consolidate its shrinking power-holds (the party is in power in Punjab and Puducehrry alone), all eyes are on the Supreme Court's verdict of Friday.

The court gave four days to Manohar Parrikar to prove his majority.

The alliance, however, did not last long as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar dumped the grand secular alliance and formed a government with the BJP in July 2017 on grounds that his Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav's name had figured in the FIR registered by CBI in connection with the Benami land deals. Mridula Sinha, a former BJP women's wing in-charge, then invited to form the government.

"It's all BJP's greed to form the government. We should get the opportunity now", said Singh. "Why the double standard?"

"If we aren't united today then it was Bihar yesterday, Karnataka today, can be MP or Rajasthan tomorrow", he added. "The crisis of one state can not also be compared to that of another", said deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi of BJP.
