The four are believed to have filmed the video for the World Cup track over the weekend as well. Will Smith and Nicky Jam have been spotted in Colombia and music producer DJ Nelson confirmed to music website Vibe that they would be performing the song for July's World Cup tournament.

As first reported by Vibe, Smith has developed a friendship with Latino artist Nicky Jam, famous for his work with Enrique Iglesias and Daddy Yankee - and it's led to the pair getting in the studio in Budapest to produce the track.

He has recently focused primarily on his acting career, and the World Cup song signals a return to music more than 10 years after his last solo album, "Lost and Found".

Past anthems have included Pitbull's "We Are One (Ole Ola)", Shakira's "Waka Waka", and Ricky Martin's "The Cup Of Life".

Even though, the World cup has a number of songs associated with it, the official anthem stands out as it is usually performed either at the opening or closing ceremony of the football event and televised live to an estimated audience of 2 billion people.

Harry Kane has been confirmed as England's captain for their upcoming World Cup campaign; the Tottenham striker has already captained the Three Lions on four occasions but has now been appointed as the permanent skipper for this summer's tournament in Russian Federation.

"They're making this large tune and it is simply so loopy". American singer/songwriter Nicky Jam and Albanian singer Era Istrefi will also be involved with the song, which is set to be released on May 25. Jason Derulo and J Balvin also appear on promotional songs for this year's competition.
