Of course, the talking point will be the Battlefield V multiplayer: continuing the trend toward large-scale, vehicle and infantry warfare, the game looks set to introduce a metric ton of new mechanics, gameplay features, and content, much of which harks back to previous Battlefield titles.

In other words: Don't Panic. As per the headline gameplay progression will not be tied to cosmetics either.

We wanted to empower player choice, diversity and inclusion, so our players can fully customize the way that they want their soldiers look and play. Those interested in the multiplayer will see 65-player Conquest return and will get to try the new Grand Operations, event-based experiences that are multimap and multi-mode to take players through historical battles. In a post on Twitter, Oskar Gabrielson who is the GM at DICE wrote, "Let me be clear about one thing".

The Battlefield V reveal trailer recently dropped, and woah.

EA ANNOUNCES BATTLEFIELD V LAUNCHING WORLDWIDE ON OCTOBER 19

This fourth and final mode is sudden death and can only be won when there's just one player left. The class system, for example, is more open-ended when it comes to equipment and loadouts, and players can "specialize" in their chosen class further, such as focusing on an assault class with anti-tank perks and weapons. That's important to us, it's always been that way for Battlefield - we live and die by our rock-paper-scissors guns.

The Battlefield 5 trailer is not getting dislikes at the pace that the COD trailer received in 2016 but it does show that some are not happy with the route that EA and DICE have taken. DICE and Electronic Arts confirmed the fact that yes, the game will have a single-player campaign.

The news came from VG247 citing the report of Polygon, besides the two in-game currencies also mentioned that "Battlefield V" won't have loot boxes.

Battlefield V will release on October 19th, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Those that order the Battlefield V Deluxe Edition will get access three days early on October 16**, while EA Access and Origin Access members† will be able to jump into the Play First Trial on October 11. Not only that, but Battlefield V will also give you the opportunity to do your own fortifications which will be extremely useful as bullets can now pierce through walls, like an official form of wall hack.
