While on the European leg of her tour, the "Tell Me You Love Me" songstress engaged in a 45-minute Twitter Q&A session where she answered random questions from fans, including the "weirdest rumor" she's heard about herself.

Eventually, Lovato dropped the #SorryNotSorry approach and apologized for the insensitive tweet writing, "So sorry if anyone was offended".

Detailing a prank on her bodyguard, the singer wrote in a since-deleted tweet: "I hired a lady of the night in Vegas and sent her to Max's hotel room to surprise him".

However, this drew criticism, after some saw it as sexual assault on Max, her security guard.

"Let me say it louder: ASSAULT IS ASSAULT!", said one Twitter user. Like, this is legitimately a shitty thing to do. Sexual assault isn't a joke, and it is not amusing, ' another wrote.

"She walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his "area" and he freaked", Lovato said, sharing her amusement.

After deleting the controversial tweet, Demi wrote: "I could tweet something about craving jelly beans and it would offend someone".

'I've done worse things to Max, just quietly, ' Kyle added.

The speed and ferocity of the eruption took mountain communities by surprise, with numerous dead found in or around their homes. Records of activity go back to the 1500s and recent reports show that the volcano has been continuously erupting since 2002.

"Of all people I know about sexual abuse", she tweeted. You don't have to educate me'.

Demi Lovato's best-known songs include "Sorry Not Sorry".

That also set off fans, who thought the comparison between sexual assault and jelly beans was minimizing at the least.

She then apologized for offending anyone.

Noticing the cyber torches and pitchforks coming her way, Demz deleted the tweet and offered a non-apology apology that was sure to nip the problem in the bud. Would they have apologised if she'd danced with a man?! Many called it sexual assault. "And just because she may be a victim herself, it doesn't excuse her actions".

Nothing to apologise for there.

She blasted out her hits including Sorry, Not Sorry, No Promises and Confident, while giving one heck of a confident performance.
