Donald Trump Denounces Rumors About Melania Trump's Absence

A media frenzy had erupted in recent days over the first lady, with reports suggesting she was "missing in action" following an announcement that she would not join the president at the looming G7 summit in Quebec and that there are "no plans" for her to travel to Singapore for the president's summit with North Krea's Kim Jong Un.

President Trump tweeted Wednesday that the media has been unfair in their coverage of his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, following her surgery. Melania Trump stepped easily, smiled and was heard telling one worker "thank you very much". "The people of our country love you", the president said.

For the past several weeks, rumors have swirled around the first lady's whereabouts after she underwent a kidney operation. Though there were questions surrounding her health following her long absence, there are no outward traces that anything is other than flawless. During her recovery from surgery they reported everything from near death, to facelift, to left the W.H.

President Donald Trump's decision to uninvite the Eagles from the White House for a post-Super Bowl visit made its way to late night TV on Tuesday, and it looks like Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah have the Birds' backs.

Although Tapper sided with Trump and came to the first lady's defense, he also used to opportunity to rip the president.

President Trump has yet to acknowledge the discrepancy in these numbers. "She's done a fantastic job as first lady".

Last week, Ms Trump's Twitter account also addressed the rumours around her long absence.

My favorite part of this and I know it will upset some of you, but the Fox Network, a rather huge supporter of this White House shows pictures of the Eagles kneeling before a game to make their point about why their trip to the White House was canceled.

Earlier this week, the first lady participated in a White House event for military families.
