Middleton made the announcement by opening up about her pregnancy in her latest column for United Kingdom supermarket monthly, Waitrose Kitchen magazine.

Following weeks of rumors, Pippa Middleton has confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child with hedge-fund husband James Matthews.

"That meant I was able to carry [on] as normal and continue my sports".

She is photographed working out, and discusses how she has adapted her exercise routine.

"When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant, I realized I needed to adjust my normal 4-to-5-day-a-week routine and find a way of continuing my exercise safely throughout the three trimesters", she wrote.

In a new fitness column for United Kingdom outlet, Waitrose Weekend, Middleton wrote she had better luck in her first trimester than her sister, Kate Middleton, who suffered from severe morning sickness.

The flip side of the groups includes a Phil Mickelson , Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy threesome that should be enormous as well. Open next week at Shinnecock Hills, and it offered two stacked groups for the morning and afternoon.

She says the couple were staying secretive during the "early months" - we didn't even see a bump in her Royal Wedding outfit (above, gallery) - so she couldn't consult a trainer either.

"I was lucky to pass the 12 week scan without suffering from morning sickness", Middleton wrote. "And this being my first pregnancy, I had so many questions I felt were all unanswered".

Mum-to-be Pippa, 34, who is known for her love of sport, also opened up about challenges she faces adjusting her exercise regime to be as healthy as possible during the exciting nine months.

Pippa and James tied the knot in May 2017 at St. Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire.

Neither Kensington Palace nor the Duchess of Cambridge have commented on Pippa's news, but the royal family is no doubt delighted.
