"The only reason I answered it was to, I think, say what the vast majority of Americans would say to somebody engaged in the kind of behavior she's been engaged in - which is looking for money".

Davidson represented Daniels when she accepted $130,000 weeks before the 2016 election in order to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump from 2006.

The president has denied those allegations.

Davidson denied those claims and says Daniels wanted to appear on the show to bolster her popularity.

A church group protested outside of the club over the weekend and is said to be back while Daniels is in the city.

First lady Melania Trump became the topic of President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani's comments on Wednesday at a speaking event.

Giuliani joined the legal team representing Trump in the probe by Special Counsel Bob Mueller almost two months ago and in recent weeks has made headlines with a series of television interviews that at times contradict his client's statements, including his confirmation of a $130,000 payment to Clifford the president denied making. Initially, Cohen wants her to appear, but Davidson replies that she's unavailable.

Attorney Keith Davidson filed the countersuit Thursday in Los Angeles claiming he was defamed by Daniels and her current attorney, Michael Avenatti, and that Cohen violated California's wiretapping law by secretly recording phone calls with Davidson. Mrs. Trump was a younger mom on the time of the alleged affair.

Afghan police killed in Taliban attack on base
The Taliban's cease-fire is expected to run from June 12 to June 14, while the government's will last until around June 20. But the group said its attacks against US-led troops stationed in the country will continue unabatedly in any area.

Dave Wedge, a spokesman for Davidson, said the suit was "outrageously frivolous" and constituted "a full and complete waiver of the attorney-client privilege".

The lawsuit alleges Davidson breached his fiduciary duty to protect the interests of his client while accusing Cohen of "aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty".

"A guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone".

Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti replied by calling Giuliani a "misogynist" on Twitter.

After several messages from Cohen asking Davidson to call him, he texted: "This is no good".

"It's the slurs against Stormy Daniels that somehow suggest that because Donald Trump has good-looking wives that means that he wouldn't be a serial abuser of women", Warren said in an interview on MSNBC.

"These text messages show that the prior denials by Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen relating to what Mr. Trump knew and about the honesty of my client were absolute lies", said Michael Avenatti, Clifford's embattled attorney.
