Bourdain was found dead of apparent suicide in a French hotel room on June 8 by his friend and fellow chef, Eric Ripert.

Bourdain split his time between living in NY (to visit his daughter) and Italy (to visit his girlfriend, Argento).

Mental health problems, often undiagnosed, are usually involved and experts say knowing warning signs and who is at risk can help stop a crisis from becoming a tragedy. It was confirmed by a prosecutor on June 9 that he sadly hung himself with the belt from his hotel bathrobe and toxicology tests are now being done to see if there was any medication in his system at the time of his passing. He had written that his love of food began as a youth while on a family vacation in France, when he ate his first oyster.

Christian de Rocquigny, the prosecutor leading the investigation, told the New York Times that while toxicology tests are being conducted, he is convinced that Bourdain's death was a result of suicide - and suspects the beloved chef and author did not plan it very far in advance.

Anthony Bourdain discusses his 2010 book "Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook" at Lincoln Theatre in Miami Beach, Florida. "Money beyond his wildest dreams".

Inside, Ripert found that Bourdain had hung himself in his bathroom.

Another individual wrote: "When Freudian slip is intentional and all pretence of subtlety is openly mocked as diplomacy". The meeting has been downplayed by Trump in recent days. "I didn't mean to say that, my mistake, I apologize for that".

"If Mr. Trump deports 11 million people or whatever he's talking about right now, every restaurant in America would shut down", Bourdain said in an interview with SiriusXM radio. I come from a place where you don't know your neighbors.

Twice-divorced Bourdain met Argento when they shot an episode of "Parts Unknown" in December 2016, shortly after he broke up with his second wife, MMA fighter Ottavia Busia - the mother of his only child. "They were good friends", Karen Reynolds, director of CNN PR and longtime "Parts Unknown" publicist, told People. His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds.

He mixed a coarseness and whimsical sense of adventurousness, true to the rock "n" roll music he loved. I am beyond devastated.

Bourdain said his youth was punctuated by drug use and he dropped out of Vassar College after two years.
