President Donald Trump, in transit to his historic summit with North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un, tweeted that Larry Kudlow, his new chief economic adviser, has suffered a heart attack.

News of Kudlow's medical condition was made public by President Trump as he prepared to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Kudlow's wife, Judith Kudlow, told The Washington Post in a brief conversation on Monday evening that Kudlow was doing well and recovering.

Kudlow, 70, a conservative commentator, replaced Gary Cohn who resigned in March.

Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack.

Elon Musk sells first 1,000 flamethrowers for the Boring Company
The Boring Company is a tunnel construction business founded in 2016 to provide the infrastructure for an underground Hyperloop. Don't worry if you can't make it; all Not-a-Flamethrowers will ship out this summer! "I will not use this in a house".

Kudlow is the director of the National Economic Council.

There was no additional information from the White House or second source, rather it was only Trump's twitter account.

Kudlow had joined Trump at the contentious G-7 at the end of last week.

"He's doing fine. The doctors here are fabulous", Kudlow said, saying she would have preferred not to comment but wanted to clarify his health status to the public. The meeting was shadowed by the Trump administration's escalation of rhetoric on trade and tariffs and splintered shortly after the president left Quebec and tweeted he was pulling back his approval of a joint statement by the group.

Kudlow appeared on Jake Tapper's CNN Sunday Beltway show, State Of The Union, this past Sunday, accusing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of undermining the U.S. and the G-7 confab with his comments.
