Microsoft architecting the next Xbox with game streaming

A spin-off from the main Forza driving simulator series (think Gran Turismo, but on Xbox), FH4 is set in a gorgeously recreated take on Great Britain, with everything from the rolling hills of Scotland to the quaint country roads of England driveable.

We look forward to spending more time drifting through the seasons when Horizon 4 hits shelves (and Xbox Game Pass) on October 2.

Developer 343 Industries has revealed more information regarding the development of Halo Infinite, and the Slipspace Engine. However, sources say Navi will be an RX 500 successor instead of an enthusiast-grade architecture and not substantially one-up its Vega GPU technology.

There's been no fighting game specific cues as of yet and it's wholly possible that we won't see any directly FGC-related content in today's conference, but the well is deep and the possibilities are endless. Spencer is far from the only one talking about streaming: Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that streamed games will replace consoles some time after the next console generation, and EA has announced its own cloud streaming service.
