The short clip offers clues about the title's moment-to-moment action and, most importantly, a sneak peek at the game's villain. Though, one of the major twists that played out in the trailer showed Jade-the protagonist from the original Beyond Good & Evil-to be this game's antagonist. We finally saw Beyond Good and Evil 2 return at Ubisoft's E3 show past year, this time with no Jade and a focus on space pirates. Players will actually be able to contribute assets like art and music to be included in Beyond Good and Evil 2 through a new Ubisoft partnership with HitRecord.

No gameplay was shown, but the game will have a demo at E3. We do know that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is a prequel to the first game, and it the game is going to follow shortly after Jade (main character from the first game) was born and is set in System 3. We get a glimpse at the ship's sick bay, which is filled with crew members who've fallen sick and drunk from the cook's "miraculous space chili".

Beyond Good and Evil 2 was announced during Ubisoft's E3 2017 press conference in a very early stage of development.

Ash Eruption At Kilauea Summit Registered As 5.4 natural disaster
County officials say there are 279 homes between the two coastal communities, and most are feared to be destroyed. The eruption has spewed out enough lava to fill 45,400 Olympic-sized pools since it started, the U.S.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the co-founder of online collaborative production company HitRecord, which will be assisting with the contribution of media to the game. This is all being fascilitated through Ubisoft's Space Monkeys community program. As a huge, huge fan of Beyond Good and Evil, I am fascinated to see how they present Jade as evil, without that being jarring compared to who she is in the original game.

Ubisoft hasn't revealed a release date yet nor platforms.
