Tesla to Offer First ‘Full Self-Driving Features’ in August

After his tweet, Tesla's official website added a new "Autopilot" webpage which explicitly states that "Please note that Self-Driving functionality is dependent upon extensive software validation and regulatory approval, which may vary widely by jurisdiction".

Musk initially referred to these boosters as "small rocket thrusters" but, in a tweet elaborating upon earlier claims, he stated it would be a "composite overwrapped pressure vessel" (COPV), instead of an actual rocket. Previously, he promised to send the first generation Tesla Roadster in space, which he actually did. This means that a bottle containing high-pressure air will be used to add thrust to the auto without actually strapping a rocket to the back of your vehicle - something that's probably not going to make your auto zero-emission. By using multiple systems, Musk hopes it can be used to decelerate the auto and even provide thrust for sharp turns.

As impressive as those specs are, Elon Musk over the weekend hinted that the next-gen Roadster may have a few more tricks up its sleeve. If you'd rather just have the standard vehicle, which is still pegged to be capable of 0-60 miles per hour in 1.9 seconds, you'll get to keep those rear seats.

The electric vehicle company unveiled the new all-electric Roadster alongside its Semi truck last November.

He ended by saying "New Tesla Roadster will exceed all gas sports cars in every way".

Kim-Trump summit making headlines in worldwide media
Trump's own chest-thumping tweet seemed reminiscent of the "Mission Accomplished" banner flown behind President George W. By the way, Korean stuffed cucumber is stuffed with Koreans - Kim is a monster". "But I think we understand each other".

The Tesla founder made the disclosure in a Twitter conversation, responding to a user who complained about issues with Autopilot, which is now considered semi-autonomous with the requirement that a motorist be at the wheel at all times.

"These rocket engines dramatically improve acceleration, top speed, braking & cornering".

Spent air from the thrusters would be refilled immediately using the Roadster's batteries to power air pumps, which in lesser electric vehicles may be a reduced range concern.

Tesla has been garnering more criticism as it burns through cash and has suffered from a significant amount of production delays.
