It's President Donald Trump's 72nd birthday, his second while in office.

Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., is also celebrating the occasion on social media.

Trump's elder daughter and senior adviser Ivanka Trump wished her dad "your best year yet!" in a birthday tweet. She wrote, "Happy, happy birthday Dad!"

Don Jr closes @foxandfriends interview by turning to camera and wishing his dad a happy birthday.

"Wishing you your best year yet!", Ivanka tweeted.

Sea level will rise to 5 mm in one year, and it will flood cities on the coasts, causing economic losses of $1 trillion per year. It contains more than 90% of the world's ice - enough to potentially raise global mean sea level by about 57 metres.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo sent a congratulatory message to Trump via Twitter.

Since he happens to share a birthday with the US Army, here's what he tweeted: "Happy 243rd Birthday to the @USArmy!" He said he wished Trump "continued strength and fortitude" in his efforts "to advance the interests of the American people".

The president already started celebrating earlier this week while in Singapore for the North Korean summit.

On Monday, South Korea's President Moon Jae-In remarked a successful summit would be a birthday gift for US President Donald Trump.

When she did appear alongside Trump at a White House event honouring gold star families, the president made an awkward joke about his wife leaving him as she made her first public appearance since being discharged from hospital.
