PUBG itself is now discounted by 33% on Steam, dropping from the usual and long-time $29.99 price point for the first time ever.

PUBG planning to release a PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Event Pass, apeing the limited-time subscription model of Fortnite's Battle Pass, with a variety of exclusive rewards that can be unlocked only through purchasing the pass.

With Epic Games reaping significant revenue through Fortnite's Battle Pass and sales of cosmetic items (the developer raked in nearly $300 million in April from such purchases), it's not hard to see why PUBG adopting the same tactic.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is going to get a new Event Pass, for players to earn additional cosmetic rewards while playing the game.

Suzuki Jimny Gets Google Search's Backing To Go Global
No diesel engine is expected as the brand recently confirmed it has pulled all diesel options from its current line-up. The interior of the new Jimny is clearly a case of function-first but it still looks plenty retro and cool.

Developer PUBG Corporation noted that over 50 million units of PUBG have been sold across the PC and Xbox One to date, and obviously with this price reduction it's hoping to expand the player base further. The new feature gives players a chance to enjoy a "trackable progression-related system" that unlocks rewards through game play.

The Event Pass system as well as the new Sanhok map will be available on 22 June 2018. If you're hesitant about buying the Pass, but want to play the missions, you're free to do that.

Players who haven't paid for the pass will be given 2XP for every five minutes they survive in a round, while paid players will be given 4XP for every five minutes. There are missions players can complete - which will then unlock cosmetic items - you can level up your pass, and even "free players" can get certain items too. The pass will contain daily, weekly, and map specific missions to complete, and will last for four weeks from this Friday.

The newest update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is on the way, and it brings the game's latest map along with it.
