Maruti Suzuki Jimny is an example of it.

There's a new Suzuki Jimny on the way this year, ahead of which Suzuki has released a couple of photos so we know what to expect from the new Jimny. This SUV is loaded with the features and is flawless for the urban driving.

As far as the engines are concerned, word on the street is that the Japanese specification of the model will receive a tiny 660cc engine and a bigger 1.5-liter motor.

While Maruti Suzuki is yet to greenlight the fourth generation Jimny for the Indian market, there's a good chance that the long wheelbase version of the SUV arriving here in due course of time with India becoming a production hub for the off-roader.

Available equipment includes LED headlights, alloy wheels (16-inch Jimny, 15-inch Jimny Sierra), air-conditioning, push-button start, cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection (5-100km/h vehicles, 5-60km/h pedestrians). No diesel engine is expected as the brand recently confirmed it has pulled all diesel options from its current line-up.

But some worry the lack of a clear resolution could exacerbate an already tough situation as his party heads toward the mid-terms. Whether that's good enough to win 218 Republicans - the number needed to approve the bill - is unclear.

The engine range hasn't yet been officially confirmed, but sources overseas report that the Jimny will be offered with 1.2 and 1.5-litre normally aspirated petrol engines, as well as Suzuki's "BoosterJet" 1-litre turbo triple. It is expected that the vehicle will officially make its way in India sometime around July.

Another bone of contention between the two is price.

The interior of the new Jimny is clearly a case of function-first but it still looks plenty retro and cool.

Apparently, Suzuki's development of the new Jimny has been based around the feedback from existing owners who weren't so fussed about on-road handling, but wanted something that was capable when the going got rough.

Though the auto has been revamped in the different ways to attract the audience, but will people welcome Jimny as the next version of Gypsy or will it be able to replicate the success created by its predecessor, is yet to be seen.
