The Steam Summer Sale has begun

Steam veterans might not find a ton of exciting deals after years and years of sales like this, but for anyone who might be a relatively new to the world of PC gaming, the Steam Summer Sale is definitely a good time to pad your library. As part of the sale, you can play a special browser-based Steam game called Summer Saliens, which allows you to win free games via giveaways and earn items that can be traded on the Steam Marketplace.

There's usually some kind of theme to the Summer Sale, and this time around, that theme is space.

It would also seem like maths is on their side as well as Steam's last summer sale started on June 22. Make sure you go in with some sort of plan for what you're after or even limit yourself to what you want to spend, which we bet won't happen and you'll end up breaking the bank on random crap - like us.

Hardware-wise, you can snag a Steam link for just €2.75 from Valve which is quite the bargain considering the device's regular price of €54.99.
