Former Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens was never known for his speed even though he consistently ran past defensive backs on go routes or caught a short pass and outran everyone. But the six-time NFL Pro Bowl selection has entertained the notion as recently as this year, when he was interviewed while speaking at the BC Lions' Orange Helmet Awards. The Eskimos could place a sophomore quarterback in college that is mobile and has a live arm to the negotiation list and see how he develops or an National Football League player on the bubble who could come in a be a dynamic defensive end.

Owens ran a 40-yard dash in under 4.45 seconds yesterday at UCLA where he was timed by friends Julio Jones and others.

We'll keep you posted on what T.O. and his Jones get into next as the 44-year-old continues his comeback quest.
