Reigning champions Leinster have been handed a tough defence of their European crown after they were named in a Champions Cup pool alongside four-time winners Toulouse, Wasps and Bath.

Between the four sides in the pool, they have 11 titles between them, setting up perfectly for a titanic battle to progress next summer. They will be great match-ups.

"We've also had some really good games with Bath in recent seasons, including a double-header in Europe three seasons back".

Newcastle will also be the host city for the Challenge Cup final.

Pool Four also includes two former winners as the lower seeds (Leicester Tigers and Ulster Rugby) as well as last year's runners up Racing 92 and semi finalists Scarlets.

Tough course or easy, Brooks Koepka repeats as US Open champ
The USGA pledged to ease off the severe conditions at Shinnecock Hills and, thus far, that has been the case. He missed a 9-footer for birdie on the last hole, keeping him from becoming the first to shoot 62 in U.S.

Glasgow Warriors, Lyon and Cardiff Blues provide the challenge.

"A semi final in last season's competition is something that we're all immensely proud of but equally just as disappointed that we didn't play to the best of our abilities on that afternoon in Dublin", said Scarlets head coach Wayne Pivac. "We will be looking to improve our performances in the opening rounds, look to build on last season's success and ensure that we remain competitive in both domestic and European competitions".

Having been drawn in Pool Three, the north Londoners will come up against two Pro14 sides in Glasgow and Cardiff, while Lyon ply their trade in the French Top14.

The standout group in that competition sees Sale Sharks, Connacht, Bordeaux and Perpignan together, while Northampton are in with Clermont Auvergne and the Dragons, as well as Romanian side Timisoara Saracens.
