Colbert Mocks Melania Trump's Jacket

The jacket, reportedly available via Spain-based retailer Zara for $39, was spotted on the first lady as she left Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and when she returned later.

"It's a jacket", Stephanie Grisham, Melania Trump's spokeswoman, told reporters.

Does the jacket actually hold a hidden meaning?

Post her visit to Texas immigration centre, Melania tweeted, "Today's visit to #Texas to spend time with children & thank the many hardworking individuals helping to care for them was very meaningful". She issued a statement on Sunday that she "hates to see children separated from their families".

"[She] fails to take a good, hard look at herself in the mirror beforehand!" She usually lets her husband, Donald Trump, do most of the talking.

Shocking images and audio of children being detained at Customs and Border Protection facilities provoked outrage online.

President Donald Trump said his wife's jacket "refers to the Fake News Media".

She didn't wear the jacket when touring the detention shelter, but put it back on when she got off the return flight to Washington D.C., and kept it on as she walked into The Oval Office where she was seen with Kellyanne Conway and Mercedes Schlapp. He then zinged Trump, "I'm guessing this is one message she did not steal from Michelle Obama", referencing her 2016 Republican National Convention speech that was plagiarized from the previous first lady. She referenced the incident in a statement sent to reporters Thursday.

Balogun, signed recently by the Seagulls from Mainz, helped Nigeria beat Iceland 2-0 in Group D. In a tweet, he wrote "Thank you guys, you did it for more 180 million Nigerians".

Some leaders of progressive groups and celebrities known for their liberal views also criticized the First Lady's jacket.

Grisham was right. There was no hidden message.

"I'm glad I'm here and I'm looking forward to seeing the children", Melania Trump said at a roundtable discussion with social workers and government officials.

On Wednesday, the president signed an executive order created to end the family-separation policy.

Oh oh oh I really don't care.

But wearing "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" is just plain weird at the same time you're visiting them to offer your support. "Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!" he added on Twitter. "You can take your words and all your lies Oh oh oh I really don't care". But maybe not, because Trump's next tweet echoed the same policy he's always professed: "We have to maintain strong borders or we will no longer have a country that we can be proud of - and if we show any weakness, millions of people will journey into our country".
