Ruben Loftus-Cheek has admitted that he may have to seek a move away from Chelsea FC to guarantee regular playing time next season.

And with Chelsea's managerial situation still unresolved Loftus-Cheek's future is uncertain.

I understand that Chelsea's hierarchy have made it known to the player's representatives that they have no plans to sell him, despite huge interest.

He has seen his chances limited thus far, and spent last season on-loan at Crystal Palace - but he was hugely successful during stay with The Eagles, and that form earned him a place in England's World Cup squad. I want to play.

Loftus-Cheek made his first appearance at the World Cup in England's win over Tunisia, entering the game as a late substitute and helping the team grab a late victor.

"Even this past season just gone, I didn't play as much as I would have liked to because of the injuries and stuff".

How to watch Brazil vs. Costa Rica
With this victory, Brazil will progress to Round of 16, whereas Costa Rica has been eliminated from the tournament. Soon after the win, Brazil supporters took to social media to praise the performance of the team .

"I do understand Chelsea is a big club and there is always pressure on managers to win games and trophies".

"It's hard to keep training at your best, but I made sure I did for when the time comes for when I did get opportunities like Palace. I like playing on the big stage". I'm confident in my ability and that I can do well, wherever it is.

Loftus-Cheek has three years to run on his deal at Stamford Bridge and is valued at around £35million.

The time appears to be now for Loftus-Cheek, though, especially given he's shown he can excel in both the Premier League and on the worldwide stage.

The England manager largely selected promise over experience, with Loftus-Cheek among the more callow squad members having appeared just twice for his country.

The youngster's comments have alerted Crystal Palace and in particular Newcastle United, with Magpies boss Rafa Benitez eyeing a return to Chelsea's young talent, after tasting success with the loan signing of Kenedy last season.
