Leishman, who already owns six top-20 results including two runner-ups this season, said he won't feel jittery while playing with 79-time US Tour victor Woods.

Other short odds to win are Tiger Woods (12/1) and Marc Leishman (18/1).

All eyes will be on Tiger Woods at the 2018 Quicken Loans National at TPC Potomac this week.

"Overall I was happy with my game last week, though in the final round I did not play my "A" game". "I've done some things I haven't done in over a decade! These are things that I didn't know I could do and all of a sudden I'm doing it". Only three of the world's top 25 players are in the field this week, making the tournament among the weakest fields of the PGA Tour this season. "I've got a game now that can play, so it's a matter of pacing myself through here, the Open, maybe Bridgestone, and then you've got the PGA and the playoffs are right there with the Ryder Cup on the back side, so that's a lot of golf coming up in the future".

If the Travelers had a high-quality feel with Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth taking to the tee, this week's Quicken Loans National is anything but. He'd then be looking at playing four straight with the PGA Championship at the end if he did qualify.

This will be Tiger's last event before he flies over the 147th Open at Carnoustie next month, and he will want to show a bit of form before he faces the challenge of a Major on a notoriously demanding course, with the hardest finish in Open golf.

The putter has more the look of a mallet than the traditional blade putter Woods has used for the bulk of his career. That is why he's been experimenting with a different model that he said he's still unsure about employing during the tournament.

Whether or not Woods will use the mallet putter when the tournament begins Thursday remains to be seen, but it is a sign of his recent struggles. Although he was hardly the only golfer struggling to read the greens, Woods needed 58 putts over the course of 36 holes. I just have not been rolling it on my lines.

Lahiri, after falling to as much as 112th is now 101st in world rankings, would be aiming to get back in the top-50 once again.

"The way I've been putting, I wanted to look for a change".

Woods is +1200 to win his tournament for the third time. Firestone Country Club will be getting a Champions Tour event.

"I've been in this position many times where I've had three putters out and I've either [stuck] with it or I haven't gone with it on Thursday, " he said.
