"That's a big one".

Justice Anthony Kennedy, the court's swing vote, is retiring at the end of July.

President Trump said Sunday he probably won't question prospective Supreme Court nominees about their views on the landmark abortion decision of Roe v. Wade.

The final point echoes the legal philosophy of Trump's last Supreme Court pick, Justice Neil Gorsuch, a renowned textualist, meaning someone who seeks to interpret laws according to their plain text over the intent of their writers or the laws' consequences. "I'm going to try and do something like that, but I don't think I'm going to be so specific".

The mosquitoes were collected off North Spring Court, near Campbell and Jupiter roads, according to Garland health officials. When practical, wear long-sleeved shirts, long trousers , shoes, socks and hats outside, especially in wooded areas.

Firstly, Trump has said he wants an "extraordinarily well qualified" nominee with sterling credentials on his or her resume. He said he hoped the president's pick will get some support from Democrats despite the criticism from liberals that began moments after Justice Kennedy announced his retirement.

This comes after the president revealed the date to reporters on Air Force One Friday, and also noted he is considering five people for the pending vacancy, which includes two female judges. "It is exciting. Outside of war and peace, of course, the most important decision you make is the selection of a Supreme Court judge, if you get it".

But the opening on the court will allow Trump to choose a conservative justice who is more likely to side with its four other justices consistently, strengthening the right-leaning majority on the bench.

Trump's initial short list of 25 names of potential nominees was largely handpicked by The Federalist Society, an influential group of conservative lawyers.
