Latest Android P Beta Takes Us Much Closer to the Final Release

Android P is still several weeks from release, and for now, we'll have to make do with this release.

This update was supposed to take place at an indiscriminate point just before July, but we're now on the second day of the seventh month.

Don't read too terribly much into this for now, but Google has released the fourth developer preview of Android P late.

There's not a lot of features announced in the release, though there will surely be some included, like the expected switch for a "Dark" theme in the Pixel launcher that Google advised would be launching soon.

But in Android P beta 3, you can manually control the dark theme yourself regardless of your background.

No rift between banned stars Warner and Smith
Bancroft was simply following orders when he was told by Warner to take sandpaper onto the field and scuff one side of the ball. "I've had some tough times but I'm an adult; I'll move forward and make sure I do the right things at the right time".

Developer Preview 4 for Android P is officially here, and while it's not a drastic change over the previous version, there is one highlight feature worth pointing out - a manual dark mode.

You can check the availability of the July Android security update on your eligible Pixel or Nexus device by going to Settings System updates.

That also means that if you're a developer, you can now submit apps that are targeted at Android P (API level 28) to the Google Play Store. They are also changes to the UI of the notifications shade, the back button is now a back arrow, and there is a new volume bar for calls as well in the UI. This feature will let users keep a tab of their smartphone usage.

We're conflicted because Google's described the new release as "an early release candidate build" and says the full release is due "later this [northern] summer". Those who are already running Beta 2, meanwhile, will get the update automatically.
