The teenager says she was first raped and blackmailed by a classmate in December.

A day after the news of a Class 9 student (who was earlier described as Class 10 student) in Bihar stunned everyone by sharing her ordeal of being gangraped for seven months by fellow students, principal and teachers, cops have arrested six people in connection with the case. Police later arrested Uday Kumar alias Mukund Singh, the principal of the private school in Saran's Parsagarh village, teacher Balaji and two minor students of the school. The police are on the lookout for the others who have been named in the victim's complaint.

According to a complaint filed by the victim, she alleges that she was blackmailed and gang-raped by the accused ever since her father went to jail in 2017. After the matter was highlighted, the school principal and teachers found the video clip of the girl being raped and joined the accused of raping the girl.

The boy, who had originally made the video, blackmailed her to have sex with other students. "One of my teachers then had stopped me from complaining to police warning that I would put my brother's life to risk", the girl told police. So, the girl approached school principal to seek for an action against them.

"The complaint was registered based on the girl's statement taken at a women's police station", a police official posted in Chhapra town of Saran district said. A medical board was formed as well for better investigation of the case.
