Captain Virat Kohli (43 off 29 balls) played his part with his authoritative strokeplay while Hardik Pandya, who shone with the ball earlier with a four-wicket haul, also made a significant contribution with the bat.

This was India's sixth consecutive T20I series win, an unbeaten streak which began in September 2017.

England assistant coach Paul Farbrace said Test captain Joe Root will get better at his job by learning from his one-day counterpart Eoin Morgan.Root has been in charge of England's Test team for a year, since the 2017 series against South Africa, but the white-ball sides are captained by Morgan.Morgan has led the limited-overs team since 2015 and recently took them to a 5-0 one-day worldwide series whitewash over Australia. Rohit showed why by dismantling the England bowling with 11 fours and five sixes. "They can control this fragile English middle-order", Ganguly added.

Three terrific catches - one from Jake Ball and two by Chris Jordan - interrupted India's chase. The Powerplay of 73 for 0 was the best in T20Is in England, and the home side's second-best effort anywhere.

Pandya will have to show the same qualities in the one-dayers, where England are a much better side. Pandya came back in the 18th over to thwart another surge from England, this time taking out Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow.

India touched the 100-run mark in the 10th over.

Earlier, India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field first against England in the third and final T20I in Bristol on Sunday.

Jordan gave England a ray of hope when things looked dim for the hosts by picking up Kohli's wicket with a sharp catch off his own bowling.

Hence it is predicted that India will win this match against England. With Rohit at his best, India hardly had to break a sweat as they overhauled the target of 199 with more than an over to spare.

A poor series for India's leading pacer. England would have posted a much bigger total but for the comeback by the Indian bowlers led by Hardik Pandya who took 4/38.

During the game, MS Dhoni got his name registered in the history books becoming the first wicket-keeper to take 50 catches in T20s and also the first keeper to take 5 catches in a single T20 match. When Buttler was eventually dismissed by Siddarth Kaul, England were closing in on a century, inside eight overs.

Buttler was dropped by Siddharth Kaul when on 20 with Chahal being the unfortunate bowler.

The breakthrough came just as India were starting to wonder where to bowl to the opening duo. Pandya had a formality to do and he did well with a six to take India to victory, that too, in style.

In the 14th over, Chahal missed a chance to dismiss Eoin Morgan (then on 4), failing to latch onto a high catch at cover only to end up banging his head on the ground.
