Released during Trump's campaign, the movie included a disclaimer that the candidate did not actually have HIV. Here is what President Trump said about Sacha Baron Cohen in his video that was used in Cohen's announcement.

Giuliani also said the president's lawyers have asked the special counsel to explain the source of his authority to investigate Trump for obstruction of justice given the probe's primary focus on Russian Federation. On Wednesday, however, all that changed.

Cohen's Twitter bio is now empty, and his banner image replaced with a USA flag that he tweeted on July 4.

Cohen has told allies that he no longer wants to be the "villain" in the narrative about Trump's behavior.

Cohen and Trump have had a rocky past. A timeline on the account says that he served in that role between January 2017 and June 2018. During the clip, a large image of Cohen's face moves along the screen.

He likewise broke with Trump's criticism of federal investigators. "He is perceptive and persistent; he plays to win".

Billy Dee Williams to Reprise Role as Lando Calrissian in Episode IX
Star Wars: Episode IX will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Abrams, Bad Robot, and Lucasfilm . It's about time! Billy Dee Williams is poised to break out the capes as Lando Calrissian once again.

The president's allies have long considered the wide-ranging corruption investigation into Cohen and his business dealings to pose an even more imminent threat to the president than the special counsel investigation.

In a phone call with a friend several days before he was interviewed by ABC News' George Stephanopoulos last weekend, Cohen - who was Trump's personal attorney for years and is now under criminal investigation in NY - said he did not believe Trump would wipe his slate clean using the presidential pardon. The FBI raided him in early April and he's now under criminal investigation. On the other hand, it could also be about Sacha Baron Cohen actually attending Trump University, but that would hypothetically be a lot more hard to pull off. Trump quickly realized he was being taken for a ride and ended the interview after just a short time.

The sources made it clear that, in his interview with George Stephanopoulos to ABC last month, Cohen carefully chose the areas to distinguish himself from the President: First, one source said, "why did (Cohen) say I respect the Federal Bureau of Investigation?".

Cohen is also reportedly ending a joint defense agreement with Trump, which allowed the two parties' lawyers to share information with each other.

It's not official until it's on social media.
