The reports of infection seem to primarily be from the upper Midwestern region, including Minnesota, Iowa, and MI. Two cases were from vegetables bought in another state but consumed in MI. "The recalled products were distributed to: Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Demond's, Sentry, Potash, Meehan's, Country Market, Food Max Supermarket and Peapod in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin", according to the FDA recall. The CDC and the Food and Drug Administration have not provided data on the number of outbreaks associated with the 28-ounce products. The company is also recalling these veggie trays in the state of Wisconsin, as well as 28 oz. veggie trays which include broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery and dill dip, which were distributed to IL and Indiana. "The two cases from MI reportedly purchased the vegetable tray in Wisconsin and therefore MI is not impacted from this outbreak", said the FDA.

The FDA has not yet identified ingredients linked to the outbreak, saying only that each component is under investigation. The exact ailment the poor victims were hit with is cyclosporiasis-which is transmitted by (brace yourself) human fecal matter.

Wimbledon: Halep bows out, Djokovic, Nadal move on
This is the first time that Hsieh, now ranked 48 in the world has reached the final 16 players in a singles tournament. Halep was leading 5-2 in the final set and had a match point, only to crumble to a 3-6 6-4 7-5 loss on Court One.

The outbreak of the parasitic intestinal infection has caused seven people to be hospitalized, though no deaths have occurred, according the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Some people who are infected with Cyclospora do not have any symptoms.

Health officials are warning that people who develop cyclosporiasis can experience "frequent, sometimes explosive" diarrhea. Vomiting, body aches, headache, fever, and other flu-like symptoms may be noted. If not treated, these symptoms may last up to a month or longer. Symptoms may seem to go away and then return one or more times (relapse).
