Pippa Middleton misses the mark in baby blue for Prince Louis' christening

The 40-minute ceremony will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who was also involved in the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May. He will be christened in the Chapel Royal of the St. James's Palace in central London, close to Buckingham Palace, the BBC said.

Welcome (officially) to the world, little Prince Louis.

Other key members of the royal family present at the service on Monday included doting grandfather Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The final guests were the young prince's six godparents and their spouses, all of whom are friends or family of the Duke and Duchess.

Prince Louis, who is fifth in line to the royal throne, has now been christened at The Chapel Royal of St James Palace, in a small and intimate family affair. The news was announced on Monday morning ahead of the christening, and is understood to have been mutually agreed by the Queen and William and Kate some time ago.

Louis was dressed in a cream, frilly lace royal christening gown - a replica of the intricate robe made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall - William's father and stepmother - attended the ceremony, as did Catherine's parents, siblings and brother-in-law, according to Kensington Palace.

Queen Victoria and Prince Albert Wednesday in the chapel, and the heart of Queen Mary is buried inside.

Recently, Meghan Markle was baptised in the chapel ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry, while Kate Middleton was confirmed there before she Wednesday Prince William.
