Boyfriend of late Love Island star Sophie Gradon found dead

Aaron Armstrong has been found dead just weeks after girlfriend Sophie Gradon's death.

Aaron Armstrong, 25, was discovered on Tuesday at a home in Northumberland.

A family friend, who wished to remain anonymous, said of Aaron's death: "We're absolutely gutted".

A police spokesman confirmed they found the body at around lunchtime today, and there were no suspicious circumstances.

According to police, there was no third-party involvement in the death, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.

Just yesterday, he posted a tribute to her. Miss you so much, man. Sophie not a minute goes by without your gorgeous smile being a picture in my mind.

Gradon, 32, a former Miss Great Britain, was found dead at her family home on 20 June.

Aaron was found just hours after posting a tribute on Instagram to his partner, Sophie.

"I love you with all my heart my handsome angel", he wrote. Her cause of death has yet to be released.

"Please be careful with how you treat people online and in real life, if it is really to do with trolls I hope those that contributed learn from this how damaging it really is".

"Please do not forget to be a little bit kinder every day to every person in your life. I love you so much Sophie I will keep fighting for you".

Last Friday, the day of her funeral in Jesmond, Newcastle, he posted that he loved Gradon "with all my heart". I can't stop crying and I can feel your spirit in my soul.

Fellow "Love Island" contestant Katie Salmon, who coupled up with Sophie on the show, shared a heartbreaking message, alluding to suicide.
