Kylie Jenner set to become the youngest self-made billionaire on Forbes list

Today, the financial magazine Forbes estimates that she is worth $900m, making her not just the richest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan (Kim Kardashian West is believed to be worth around $350m), but on course to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever.

How did Jenner make her fortune?

While there's no doubt that Kylie Jenner billionaire, people are a bit dubious about the "self-made" part. According to Forbes, she sold more than $630 million worth of makeup since its launch, including an estimated $330 million in 2017. She told Forbes that social is "an wonderful platform" because she has "such easy access to my fans and my customers".

Also on this year's list is her half-sister Kim Kardashian-West, who ranks with a net worth of $350 million by selling her followers a mobile game, emojis, and, most recently, cosmetics.

When adding into account her product endorsements with brands including Puma shoes and PacSun clothing, the reality TV star's net worth is estimated to around $900 million. "It could easily be an instant game-changing acquisition for any company on the hunt for a winning brand with a younger customer", senior VP or merchandising at Ulta Tara Simon said. The magazine values her company at worth almost $800 million - and Jenner owns 100 percent of it. Forbes says she's "conservatively worth $900 million", and another year of growth will put her on track as not just the youngest female self-made billionaire ever, but the youngest self-made billionaire ever, period, beating out tMark Zuckerberg, who reached the billion-dollar mark at 23.

However, Scorsese's producer Emma Tillinger Koskoff is still aboard here with Richard Baratta as EP. There is no release date attached to the film, but it begins filming this Fall in NY .

"Before I even refreshed the page, everything was sold out", Jenner said. "I turned to makeup to help me feel more confident".

Jenner's company only has seven full-time and five part-time employees.

In a video interview with the same magazine, Kylie says she was inspired to create these lips kits due to her own insecurity about her own lips.

The company was launched with $250,000 (£188,000) of Kylie's own money she had earned from modelling; she produced 15,000 lip kits and teased the launch for months on Instagram.

"Maybe one day [I'll] pass this on to Stormi, if she's into it."
