For the past 10 days, she has been volunteering at the media centre near the cave helping to translate press briefings.

"They are not only the kids of Chiang Rai or the kids of Thailand", she said in English.

"They are getting forced to do something that no kid has ever done before".

They were trapped by floods more than two weeks ago. She says it has felt like the whole world was rooting for the boys. "All the thirteen Wild Boars are now out of the cave", the Thai Navy SEAL unit, which led the rescue, said on its Facebook page.

They became trapped after heavy rains caused flooding.

The story captured national attention since British divers discovered the boys on Monday, July 2.

Officials have not been commenting on the rescue mission as it has been taking place, so it was not clear what condition those brought out on Tuesday were in.

A former Thai Navy diver, Saman Guan, lost consciousness on July 6, two days before the rescue operation began. U.S. military personnel also helped.

But a person with knowledge of the rescue said just before the twelfth person was spotted, that in all, 11 of the 13 had been brought out. "It's towards only one goal". Tuesday's evacuation operation involved more than 100 people.

Pelinka echoed that by saying "This is a historic moment for the Lakers, and we could not feel more grateful and honored". The game proved to be James's final appearance for the Cavs as he signed a four-year deal with the Lakers this month.

Over the next three days, the boys were brought out in groups: four on the first day, four on the second and four, plus their coach, on Tuesday.

"Moreover, based on extensive cave video review and discussion with several divers who know journey, SpaceX engineering is absolutely certain that mini-sub can do entire journey & demonstrate at any time", Musk added. The distance from where the crew is trapped to the main entrance is about a half a mile, and the boys had to travel most of that distance underwater to reach freedom.

The divers and medic, whose names were not immediately released, were all healthy after making the arduous journey out of the underground maze from the chamber almost 3 miles deep where they helped the once wayward group and kept them calm as plans to extract them were being hatched, officials said.

The eight boys who have left the cave are being treated in an isolation ward in a Chiang Rai hospital. "I felt like he was one of my own children and I wanted him to come home".

"I'm very proud to play a small part in the success".

"We are not sure if this is a miracle, a science, or what".

Onlookers cheered, "Hooyah moo pa!" - a reference to the name of the boys' soccer team, Moo Pa, or Wild Boars.
