Earlier today (July 8th), it was announced that DJ Khaled has pulled out of his performance at the Wireless Festival in the United Kingdom due to "travel issues".

Festival organisers say they are "working on something special that won't disappoint" but no confirmation yet on what that is.

Davido also brought out Mayorkun on stage as the duo performed his songs, Mama and "Cheche".

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that DJ Kahed wasn't even in the United Kingdom and had posted pictures of himself loving life on social media.

As it turns out, Wireless Festival organizers actually knew for months that DJ Khaled wouldn't be able to make it overseas for his previously announced headlining set. "Swipe to left for more vibes". On Sunday, however, it became clear that DJ Khaled would not be playing live at Finsbury Park in north London.

Wireless tweeted blaming his no-show on "travel issues".

The BBC has reported that Drake's secret set had been planned prior to DJ Khaled's cancellation.

One wrote: "Drake is at #wireless... was a good substitution still".

The Wireless Festival was held on the weekend of Friday July 6 - July 8, and had Nigeria's Davido performing on the second day of the event alongside other worldwide acts like Stormzy, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Migos. You're supposed to be performing in London at Wireless.
