A brand new vehicle has been added: the All Terrain Kart or ATK.

It sounds like there will be a ton of new stuff to discover on the map, and the new All Terrain Kart will be ideal for exploration with your squad.

Everything detailed in Fortnite Season 5's patch notes points us towards a new All Terrain Kart, Rifts that'll take us for a "wild ride", and a string of new biomes. There are also two new locations for players to visit called Paradise Palms and Lazy Links. The rear passengers can even work together with the driver to jump over obstacles on the map by leaning back and then releasing at the same time for a higher jump.

The biggest change pertains to the new Rifts that are scattered all throughout the "Fortnite" battle royale map. It'll drift, granting you a speed boost, and players can use the roof as a bounce pad.

Royal Family celebrates Royal Air Force's 100th Anniversary
On Monday, Prince Louis was christened at the Chapel Royal in St James's Palace surrounded by his family. Kate Middleton stunned, once again, at the christening of her third child, Louis , in London on July 9.

While the new locations and features will capture your attention, Epic has made a number of important tweaks to the in-game mechanics. In addition to balance changes and bug fixes, the latest version of Fortnite adds new locations to explore, a new vehicle to drive around the map, more challenges for free players to complete, and, as always, plenty of new cosmetics to unlock.

Some changes to gameplay include adjustments to shotguns, which will now indicate how many pellets have hit, and it will be visible within the damage reticle. Where storm circles would normally just shrink, Epic has decided that the seventh, eighth and ninth circles should move in random directions, giving campers a whole new headache to deal with. The heavy shotgun now fires 10 pellets instead of 5, but the maximum damage of the weapon has been unchanged. No one is more excited than the team over at Epic Games however, and they couldn't wait to share what else is in store for the popular game's fifth season. There will now be a delay when players switch from firing one shotgun to another.

In 50v50 or 20v20 modes, you'll now get bonus XP up to three times per match for reviving teammates.
