In a combined 32 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers during the 2017-18 campaign, Thomas averaged 15.2 points and 4.8 assists.

Thomas was rumored to be looking at a few teams. At the very least, the Nuggets - which desperately needed another point guard behind Jamal Murray - hope that will end up being the case.

It's with the Nuggets that Thomas will be reunited with ex-Sacramento head coach Mike Malone, and part of a Denver squad that finished with 46 wins a season ago (but finished in ninth place in the Western Conference for the second year in a row). He was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a swap of star guards in August.

According to Woj, he is signing for the veteran minimum.

Soccer Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo Deal Ignites Strike at Italian Fiat Chrysler Plant
The USB union believes the decision is causing Fiat to miss out on investment, which the transfer money could have been used for. As reported earlier, former Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a 2-year deal with Juventus for 100 million Euros.

If that's going to happen, it will occur in Denver, as the Nuggets signed Thomas as an unrestricted free agent, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The deal, sources told Wojnarowski, is for the veteran minimum.

Thomas tore his labrum and had a procedure on his hip this past April. He struggled upon his return after missing the first two-and-a-half months trying to avoid surgery, had some difficulty adjusting once he did return and was eventually dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline. While never the most efficient guy, Thomas was usually good to shoot in the mid-to-high 30-percent range from deep.

With the Nuggets, Thomas has the chance to run with some exciting players.

After opening his National Basketball Association career with the Sacramento Kings in 2011-12 and subsequently playing for the Phoenix Suns, Thomas exploded into stardom with the Boston Celtics.
